In a series of tweets, Mohamed Eljarh (@Eljarh), formerly a Non-Resident fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East, has questioned whether Saif Qaddafi (Son of Moammer Qaddafi) is still held in Zintan. Eljarh based this on recent statements made by the Ministry of Justice in the Interim Government (Eastern Government under Al-Thini) and Saif’s defence team.
Zintan's letter re MoJ's letter & Saif's defense team press conference in the Hague make me wonder if Saif is in Zintan at all? #Libya
In a previous tweet, Mohamed Eljarh claimed that deceased Minister of Justice Graira had ordered Saif to be released, despite the Al-Thini government denying such orders.
