Analysts fear Trump endorsement of Haftar will fuel the crisis

In an article published with The Atlantic on 24 April, Kathy Gilsinan alerts about the confusion in Libya resulting from what appeared to be an endorsement by U.S President Trump of General Haftar and also evokes the confusion within the Trump administration. Many voices were raised, in Libya and the international community, to denounce the support granted by Trump to Haftar as it contradicts national and international efforts for a successful political solution to Libya’s crisis.
