Reuters reported that Government of National Accord (GNA) Prime Minister Fayez Al-Serraj declared on 14 March a state of emergency over the current coronavirus pandemic. The Tripoli-based GNA PM also announced that a budget had been decided on to fight the disease if it were to attain Libya.
