Russia’s unchanged policy towards Libya

On 6 May, Yury Barmin analysed in an article published with Al-Monitor Russia’s positions towards Libya in the light of the recent events. Barmin argues that the offensive launched by General Haftar on Tripoli has not pushed Moscow to revise its policy towards Libya, which he analyses as mostly reactionary and driven by Russia’s will to impose itself as a relevant actor in Libya.
