On 3 December, Dario Cristiano published for The Jamestown Foundation’s Terrorism Monitor, Volume 16/Issue 23 an analysis of ISIS’s operations and presence in Libya. Cristiano identifies an operational revival of ISIS in Libya, as demonstrated by the recent attack in Tazirbu which targeted a police station, killing at least eight civilians. In terms of operational trends, Cristiano’s research indicate that IS reorganized itself into small groups and dispersed throughout Libya, allowing the group to strike in different areas of the country.Click here to read the article.
