In an article published on 3 May and updated on 25 May with Middle East Eye (MEE) Mark Curtis demonstrates the extent to which the 2011 war in Libya and the Western intervention has created instability in Europe, Syria, North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. For Curtis, terrorism has spurred in up to 14 countries as a direct product of the 2011 war in Libya. In the light of this analysis arises the question of the impact of the current crisis in Libya, which developed in early April 2019 following the offensive on Tripoli launched by General Haftar.
