Unifications talks are underway in TunisWhile the Tunis talks are taking place between the dialogue team and the Presidential Council, Mattia Toaldo (Senior Policy Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations) has reported what he called ‘Some good news’.According to Toaldo, the different war factions are speaking to each other. Toaldo added that the different factions showed the will to consider the GNA (Government of National Accord) as the responsible central authority.

On the same issue Libya Researcher Mary Fitzgerald reported that UN Envoy Martin Kobler said that while he contacts General Haftar on a weekly basis to arrange a meeting, General Haftar has so far refused.
