On 7 December, Jalel Harchaoui published with the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) a special report on Turkey’s intervention in Libya. In this research, Harchaoui examines the rationale and motivations behind Ankara’s strong interests towards Libya manifested in the past year. In his conclusion, Harchaoui highlight’s Turkey’s attempt to forging a new geostrategic configuration in its favour in its focus on Libya. For Harchaoui, in spite of its strong engagement from almost a year now, Turkey still has not secured any of its strategic goals.Click here to read the report.
