On 12 March, Adam Ghallab published an op-ed with The Libya Times in which he advocates for the return to monarchy in Libya, urging UNSMIL to facilitate the reintegration of monarchy into Libya’s current political process. For Ghallab, only two political systems manged to keep Libya’s tribally fragmented society together: the monarchy era constitution which was established in 1959 and the authoritarian regime established by Muammar Gaddafi in 1969.Click here to read the report.
