Al Monitor publishes article on Wagner's future in Libya after the mutiny in Russia

On 3 July, Al Monitor published an article entitled ‘Libya factions reassess Wagner's operations in light of mutiny in Russia’, by Libya analyst Mohamed Eljarh. In his article, Eljarh argues that the Wagner group's recent mutiny against the Kremlin could have a significant impact on the conflict in Libya and lead to further instability in the country, especially in light of reports of a drone strike targeting Wagner in eastern Libya last week. He further raises the question: ‘If Wagner and its leadership are able to rebel against the Russian military and the Kremlin in such a way, what could they be capable of in a place like Libya?’.
