« Anatomy of a war crime », or « Anatomie d’un crime de guerre », in the original version, is a French documentary filmed by Cécile Alegra exploring the issue of rape used as a weapon of war in post-Gaddafi Libya. The documentary has been broadcasted in France by Arte, after a premiere in Paris on 8 October. The documentary follows a team of legal advisors who attempt to gather evidences to denounce the atrocities committed in Libya during and after the 2011 uprising, demonstrating the depth of the violence in Libya and the intentional use of rape as a means to conquer. The documentary is in French and has been awarded at the last International Film Festival and Forum of Human Rights.Click here to watch the documentary.
